Treatment Rate & Instruction

The recommended treatment rateis1 part of STAR-MAX Coolant Additive per ****0 parts of regular coolant/water mixture. STAR-MAX Coolant Additive comes in **0 mL bottles for convenience of treating small/mid-size automobiles, **0 mL bottles for large-size automobiles, and 1 L bottles for large trucks and heavy machinery.

If you are changing used coolant into new one, then after draining old coolant, add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive first, and then add a new coolant/water mixture into radiator until it is full.

If you are going to add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive on existing coolant without changing, then remove about the same amount of STAR-MAX Coolant Additive, which you are going to add, from existing coolant from radiator using a big dropper, and then add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive.

Adding STAR-MAX Coolant Additive would extend the period of coolant change; however, it is recommended to follow the engine manufacture\'s change recommendation and add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive every time coolant is changed.

CAUTION: Do not add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive when engine is running or hot. Opening radiator cap, while engine is running or when it is hot, is extremely dangerous. Do not add STAR-MAX Coolant Additive into coolant reservoir.
