Description

I have made a list of the equipment that I can offer to you and information for the Pilot Ignition system that I use on the larger, Sour, or Assisted Smokeless Flare Systems and also the Electronic Ignitor I have developed. The pilot has a much improved retracting system than what you have seen from Competitors, which I know you will like, and the pilot ignition function and Control Panel are also both much improved. I have also developed a new Electronic Spark Ignitor that has been working out very well. It is utilized on Utility flare applications that do not have natural gas or propane available. It has a **0 stainless steel upper section that maintains a fixed spark gap that can not warp and ground itself out. The Grounding out is a major problem that many Competitors suffer from, because once it happens it generally blows up the coil. The Electronic Ignitor is a new design that maintains a fixed arc gap, but also allows the Center electrode to pivot in the wind. This pivoting action brushes off any carbon buildup to ensure the arc does not ground through the carbon. The head is also held centered inside the wind shroud, which is another key feature not available on any other electronic ignitor. The Wind Shroud is the same for the Pilot and Electronic Ignitor. The Wind Shroud ensures the waste gas cannot blow away from the Ignitor spark or pilot flame. Without a properly designed wind shroud, wind can blow the waste gas away from the Electronic Spark Ignitor or pilot flame which can cause the flare to go out.

I have designed flares from small 2” x *0’ tall Utility flares to probably the largest Canadian designed & built Air Assisted Smokeless Flare system installed in Canada, which was sold to Nova Chemicals at Joffre, AB., *6” x *4” x **5’ tall. Another large Air Assisted flare I designed was for EnCana at Empress that was *4” x *3” x **0 feet tall, please be assured I can properly size, design, and build any flare you require with the best of design, quality and craftsmanship, at a very competitive price.
