Physicochemical Property
It can be converted into Vitamin A in body. Insoluble in water and slightly soluble in alcohol and ether; soluble in chloroform benzene and oil with good liquidity; its melting point is between **6 - **0 degree Celsius.
Application
Widely used in baked products, (frozen) flour-made food, puffed food, solid beverage, fruit juice beverages, candy, jelly and pudding.
