C****0 has extremely high free machining value.On machinability rating scale with **0 for free cutting brass HPb ***3 (C****0)and *0 for pure copper, tellurium copper is rated as *0.

Tellurium copper also has high electric conductivity (*0% IACS) and thermal conductivity, as well asexcellent corrosion and arc resistance. Cold working or hot forming are both practicable. Tellurium copper can be forge, casted, extrused and drew, stamped and pressed.
