Carbon Packings
This tough and versatile packing withstands a wide variety of
chemicals. Common applications include centrifugal pumps,
agitators, ball, globe, gate and plug valve stems, oil drilling and
down-hole tools. Handles acids, strong caustics, hot oils, solvents
and boiler feed.

PTFE Packings
This high-density, dimensionally stable packing absorbs very little
water and is well-suited to valve and slower shaft speed
applications, such as check and needle valve stems, reciprocating
rods, rams and plungers and rotary applications.
PTFE dispersion ensures a low friction finish and prevents leakage
through the braid
