Description

OssFill consist of an Atelocollagen Implant and a Hydroxyapatite implant. The Atelcollagen implant is made of highly purifed collagen derived from porcine skinl the Hydroxyapatite implant is made from a syntheti, micro-porous material. The Basic desing of OssFill requires the end-user to mix the powder component (Hydroxyapatite implant) with the gel (Atelocollagen implant) to creat a paste-like substance to be used as a bone void filler.
 
OssFill is combined with autogenous bone marrow; is intended for use in filling bony voids or gaps of the skeletal system (i.e., te extremities, spine, and pelvis) that are not intinsic to the stability of the bony strucure. These defects may be surgically created osseous defects or osseou defects resulting from troumatic injury to the bone.
 
OssFill is a bone substitute thatis partially resorbed and remodeled into new bone as part of the natural healing process.
