The MERA functions *4/7.
The plant can also run without waste input, so an electricity production of 2.5 Megawatt per hour is the result with or without waste input
 
A minimal amount of external energy is necessary.
Either gas or diesel/domestic heating fuel can be used.
A typical consumption of diesel/domestic heating fuel per hour is *5 litres.
 
The small decentralized modules can be easily installed on the waste site or wherever the waste is produced, and can be transported on a low loader truck from one site to another.
 
As the physical size of the plant is relatively small, several MERAs can be installed on one site without any further problems.
The number of MERAs of course depends on how much waste per hour needs to be processed and/or Megawatts or electricity need to be produced.
 
Due to the efficiency of the pyrolysis  process absolutely  no slag is produced.
The end product is an inert ash which can be used in the construction and road construction industry.
This means that the furnace needs minimal maintenance and there are practically no production stoppages.
 
Extremely quiet (less than *0 dB (A))
 
The plant has practically no parts which could wear out.
The plant has been designed for a lifespan of up to *5 years
 
The average gas emissions are *0% lower than the values laid down in the EU regulations
 
The overproduction of heat and electricity, i.e. not used directly for the plant owner, will be fed into the grid (bought by the electricity company and the heat can be used for town central heating).
 
The actual construction/manufacturing time needed for a MERA is much shorter than comparable plants from other manufacturers
