According to the different carbon content of **0 grade, it can be divided into four categories 

**0A / 1.***1 / X*0Cr*3  (  C 0.**- 0.*5, Cr *2.**- *4.*0 ) 

**0B / 1.***8 / X*0Cr*3  ( C 0.**- 0.*5, Cr *2.**- *4.*0 ) 

**0 / 1.***1 / X*9Cr*3     ( C 0.**- 0.*2, Cr *2.**- *4.*0 ) 

**0C / 1.***4 / X*6Cr*3  ( C 0.**- 0.*0, Cr *2.**- *4.*0 ) 

**0D / 1.***7 / X*5Cr*3  ( C  0.**- 0.*0, Cr *2.**- *4.*0 ) 

* The chemical range listed as per EN / DIN standards. 
* Mostly X*9Cr*3 is replaced by X*6Cr*3. 
* GB 6Cr*4 also wrote as 6Cr*3. 

Hardness comparsion

**0A and **0B stainless steel grades are widely used in medical instruments, economical cutlery / knives, 
mechanical parts and components etc. 

**0C stainless steel is applied in outdoor knives manufacturing, especially like Buck etc. 
and our domestic brand Zhangxiaoquan uses this to produce kitchen knives etc. 

**0D stainless steel is superior to produce razor blades / surgical scalpels etc. 
Though carbon steel like SK2 obtains high hardness, but it's easily get rust. 
How to avoide this problem? **0D stainless steel makes it. 
It achieves about *0 HRC after suitable heat treatment. 
Right now, we mainly export precision cold rolled stainless steel strip in coil **0D 
0.1**2.4mm / *6.*7mm / *5.4mm to Japan.
