Operating instruction

 

1. Adjusting the grooving depth

Loosen the tightening screw (*4) under the supporting part and the supporting bolt(3),turn the vernier screw(*5) to the required grooving depth. One circle of turning can raise or lower the grooving knife by about 0.5mm. Fasten the tightening screw (*4) and supporting bolt (3).

2. Switch Operation

Press the button on the side of the machine hand shank first then hook the button of trigger when the machine power on (two buttons must be pressed simultaneously to make the machine work.)Push the button to return to the original position can power off the machine to stop.

3. Installation for track     

  You need an aluminum panel with same depth as the one you will work as a fix position panel. Put the fix position panel with length same as the operating platform and **0mm wid

th under the track. Use “F” clip to fasten the track and the fix position panel.    

4. Grooving and cutting

Put the orienting wheel with two bearings into the trough of the track. Put the first wheel of 4 outside wheels on the work part. Do not let the grooving saw touch the work part or any other parts. Turn on the machine and push the machine along the track When the saw turns at a high speed, the work part will be grooved and cut.

5. Installating and disassembling the grooving saw

  To disassemble the saw you must remove the 4 screws from the protecting cover first. Then press on the lock shaft plate (*8) to lock the motor. After that loosen the hex bolts which tighten the grooving saw with the wrench and remove all of the components. To install just reverse the steps. 

6. Changing the carbon brush

  You should check and change the carbon brush often. The carbon brush should be changed when it’s length is less than 6mm (1/4 inch). Both brushes should be changed at the same time. Keep the brushes clean so that they can slide easily in the hollow.  

 

Warnings:

 

1. Please make sure the saw tooth is toward  you when you look at the machine from the behind.

2. Please use the attached spanners to install and disassemble the grooving saw.  

3. Please make sure the power cord is detached the machine when it is not in use.

Safety operation specification 

 

1. Keep the work yard clean

  In any mess work yard or using any motor tool on the work bench is easy happen     accidents.  

2. Warning: the environment around the work yard

  All the motor tools must avoid getting wet from the water or rain, also not allowed to use in any humid environment; must very good in lighting and not allowed to use any motor tools nearby where put any inflammable liquid or gas     

3. Be careful of Electricity

  During the work avoid touching earthed cathode: water pipe, heater, refrigerating machine etc.  

4. Keep the kids away from the work yard

   Must not allowed any one touch anywhere who do not work in the factory and also not allowed them enter 

5. Location the tools

  Never leave the tools nearby the kids and should keep it in dryly and safety place.

6. Do not forced use the tools

  Shield from danger or damage to do not over use the power rating of the tools  

7. Use the right tools

  Do not use any tools not belong to this machine     

8. Mind your clothes

  Do not wear any loose clothing or jewelry;it could easy to voluble from any moveable working parts. Out door working must put a pair of shoes with such projections on the soles and rubber glove and cover the long hair as well      

9. Safety glasses

  During the cutting or grooving please use the safety glasses and respirator   

*0. Protect power supply

  Do not dragging the tools by the power supply or pull out the supply by dragging; avoiding touching any heating supply, oily and any angle corner

*1. Do not across the machine to catch any tools and must keep the right position for catching and working to avoiding the saw under the shoulder

*2. Corrective maintenance

   Keep the cutters sharp for the cutting and grooving in a high quality; please  follow the instruction to use the machine and change the tools; keep the power supply works and always keep the handle in dryly, clean and avoiding from any liquid; keep the technician can check the goods usually     

*3. Disconnects the power supply for the machine

    Please break down the power when change the tools (cutter or groover) or do any maintenance     

*4. Remove all the sligning tools and spanner

   Please remove all the sligning tools and spanners from the machine   

*5. Shield motor suddenly kicked on

   Do not touch the switch when connect with the machine and started to work; please make a sure of the machine (cutter) is power off when put the power supply on   

*6. Use extended wire

   Please use the same power rated of the wire when the extended is need

*7. Keep level-headed

   Please concentrates and keep level-headed on work, avoiding work when tired or over work    

*8. Keep check work piece

   Please check the easy damage work piece before start the machine, for example the cover must can keep the machine safety in work; make a sure all the moveable parts locate in right position, fasten part must fasten      

*9. Supply voltage

   Please make a sure the supply voltage as same as the power rated of the machine, too low or over rated can damage the machine and dangerous for workers

warning:

Do not touch the cutter when the machine with power on!!!

The motor can slip a while after the power off!!     

Please keep the track vertical to avoiding get bend!!
