Description: Sensors for Roller Conveyor Systems

Thanks to wenglor\'s specially developed design, sensors for roller conveyor systems are mounted between the supporting rollers of a roller conveyor.

Individual storage spaces in the roller conveyor system can be electrically or pneumatically switched on and off via the control logic. The sensors thus replace mechanical switching valves. A single item is removed and transported from its storage place in the case of a single discharge, while a block discharge causes all conveyed goods in a defined range to be transported on a conveyor belt at the same time.

Up to *0 sensors can be electrically coupled together using a plug connector. Depending on the sensor, a magnetic valve for controlling the pneumatics may be built in.

Reflex sensors for roller conveyor systems operate according to the principle of angle measurement, while retro-reflex sensors for roller conveyor systems with reflectors operate according to the barrier principle. Color, form and surface characteristics have almost no effect on the detection of the conveyed material.
