The oil steel pipeline glue  consist of butyl based elastomers blended with polymeric resins dissolved in an organic solvent system. They can be used for machine or hand applications and provide excellent adhesion to the pipe substrate and cathodic

Theoil steel pipeline glue shall be stored in accordance with regulations that govern hazardous material storage. Primer inventory shall rotate on a first in - first out basis. Primer containers shall be marked with  receiving date.

oil steel pipeline glue  is applied to the pipe steel surface with a brush or paint roller to a wet thickness of no lessthan two (2) mils (65 microns) and no greater than 3 mils (76 microns). The primer shall be  thoroughly mixed prior to application on pipe. Primer container shall remain covered when not  in use.

The oil steel pipeline glue  shall cover the entire exposed steel surface including the raised circumferential weld bead and overlap onto the mill applied primary coating system by a minimum of 4 inches (10.16 cm).  The oil steel pipeline glue shall be dry to touch prior to the application of the joint wraps. The oil steel pipeline glue shall not be diluted. Primer cans shall remain covered when not in use to avoid solvent evaporation and contamination.

System description:

The Liquid adhesive are recommended for use with only Xunda coating systems. 

The Liquid adhesive is quickly drying applied to the appropriately prepared pipe 

surface before application of inner layer tape. The function of Liquid adhesive is 

to provide a bonding medium between the pipe surface and the inner layer tape.

Its suitable for hand brush or machine spray application.It can be applied by hand or machine.

 Hand-application :app. 0,2 litre/m² pipe surface   Machine application:app. 0,1 litre/m² pipe surface

The liquid adhesive consists of butyl rubber and synthetic compound and a solvent-gasoline.
