PE butyl tape water pipeline anti corrosion coating system  systerm fororrosion protection of oil,

gas, petrochemical,waste water undergroundand  overhead pipelines.the inner layer tape shall

be applied after the primer and before the outer layer tape .

 PE butyl tape water pipeline anti corrosion coating system is with a stabilizedpolyethylene carrier film,coated onone sides with a permanently plastic syntheticcompound on a butyl rubber base.

The highly stable and supple carrier film guarantees a high degreeof protection from mechanical damage.

Structure: 

PE butyl tape water pipeline anti corrosion coating systemconsists of two layers:

 adhensive layer and film backing

 A:adhensive layer: butyl rubber

 B:film backing: special  blend of stabilized polyethylene

 The inner wrap tape shall be two ply plastic tape consisting

of stabilized polyethylene (PE) base of outer layer (backing)

with a layer of butyl rubber (adhesive) applied on one side.

 The thickness of plastic base shall not be less than 13mils.

Thickness of butyl rubber shall not be less than 12 mils.

The total thickness of the tape shall not be less than 25 mils.

 The inner wrap tape must be compatible with the properties

of the primer and the properties of outer wrap tape.

 PE backing colour shall be black.
