Sodium Etching is a process surface treatment to PTFE to allow for
adhering to another surface. Fluoropolymers such as PTFE exhibit
excellent lubricating characteristics. These non-stick properties
often reduces bonding ability of the material, however, etching
alters the surface properties of the polymer allowing it to be
bonded.
Available in etched one side and etched two sides.
