Production Description

  Acidic (KCl) Zinc Brightener and Make-up CLZN-10

1. Properties

1. It is composed of ClZn-10A and ClZn-10B, the deposit is white bright, the gloss-finishing is fast.
 
2. The bath has perfect ability of resisting iron impurities, suitable for both rack and barrel plating.
 
3. The deposit is fine and bright, easy for making passivation, such as color, blue-white and white.
 
4. Stable plating solution, low brightener consumption.  
                          
2. Bath composition and Operation condition

ZnCl2 60~70g/L 45~60g/L
H3BO3 30~35g/L 30~35g/L
ClZn-10A Brightener 1~2ml/L 0.4~1.5ml/L
ClZn-10B Bath make-up agent 20~30ml/L 20~30ml/L
PH 4.5~5.5 5.0~6.0
Cathode current density(Dk) 0.5~3A/dm2 0.1~3A/dm2
Temperature 10~40℃ 10~40℃
Anode 0＃zinc ingot
 
3. Bath Make-up

1. Add water 2/3 of bath volume, then add calculated Potassium Chloride and Zinc Chloride, while mixing to dissolve.
 
2. Dissolve calculated Boric Acid into 80℃ hot water in another tank, while agitating to dissolve completely, then add it into the former big tank slowly.
 
3. Add zinc powder of 1-2g/L into the big tank, agitating for 20~30 minutes, then filter it into the plating tank after the solution is clear.
 
4. Add water up to the calculated volume.
 
5. Dilute calculated ClZn-10A and ClZn-10B with water twice, then add into the plating solution while agitating evenly, ready for trying plating.
