Production Description

 Acidic Zinc  Brightener ZN-618
 
  1. Properties

1). It is composed by primary brightener and auxiliary one, it owns high gloss and leveling ability.
 
2). High current efficiency, good leveling ability, as well as stable.
 
3). Good heat resistance, suitable for no refrigeration equipment manufacturers.
 
4).Both rack and barrel plating additive suitable for processing of complex parts.
 
                        
2. Bath composition and Operation condition

3. Solution Make-up

Add water at the 2/3 amount of bath volume, then add above amount of KCl and ZnCl2 and stir. Dissolve H3BO3 with 80℃ hot water and add slowly into the bath, then add 1-2g/L zinc powder, stir 20-30 minutes, Filter into the bath after solution becomes clarified, add water according to calculated volume. Dissolve above calculated Zn-618 additive by one time of volume water and add into the bath, stir uniform, then start to do trial plating.  
 
4. Solution Management

1).ZN-618 brightener consumption is 100--150ml/KAh, ZN-618 softener consumption is 60~100ml/KAh.

2).When adding brightener, mix softener and brightener at the ratio of 1 to 2 volume uniform, dissovle with water at 1 or 2 times, and then add into the bath. Add less but more times. 

3).If the previous solution is KCl zinc plating, do not need any special treatment, add Zn-618 directly.

4).When adjust and reduce PH value, dilute HCl at 5-10 times water and then use.  

5).Guarantee bath solution stable when producing, dissolve raw material out of the bath before replenishing.
