world-renowned Edam Cheese is famous for its distinct round shape.
The cheese is named after the Dutch town of Edam in the province of
North-Holland. This Edam cheese is slightly matured and has a very
pleasant, mild and full flavour. As this is a semi-hard cheese it
is perfectly suitable to be sent abroad by post. Edam cheese is *0+
fat cheese, matured naturally for ***0 weeks and made from
pasteurized cows milk.
This cheese has a beautiful silky texture and convey the characteristic round shiny eyes. Our Edam provides a nutty sweet flavour to the palate. It has a delicate and creamy mouth-feel; with a firm, clean cutting texture.
