A hydraulic torque wrench is a power tool designed to exert torque
on a fastener to achieve proper tightening or loosening of a
connection through the use of hydraulics.The hydraulic torque
wrench is applied to the nut either directly or in conjunction with
an impact socket.
The Hydraulic wrench and pump are usually mainly used on
industrial pipe work, oil rigging and other massive industrial
structures. Hydraulic torque wrenches come with a hose and a power
pack which attaches to the wrench to remove or tighten large

Step *- Check & Check
Before Using the hydraulic torque wrench set, examine it to ensure
that all of its parts are firmly secure. Run it at full scale at
least three times before starting the job. This allows the operator
to ensure that the hydraulic torque wrenchs movable parts are
moving in the right direction.
Be **0% sure to operate the hydraulic torque wrench within Woden
engineerss advised calibration range. If the hydraulic torque
wrench is used at levels above those specified, the operator will
be in danger and the hydraulic torque wrench itself might be
harmed.
Be sure to re-calibrate the wrench at consistent intervals. It is
advisable to bring the hydraulic torque wrench in to a calibration
lab on an annual basis or after every four to five thousand

Always re-calibrate the hydraulic torque wrench if it falls or hits
the ground with any force.
Step *-Adjustment
All the hydraulic torque wrenches will have adjustable settings in
which operator can set the correct torque level for the particular
project. If the project has a pre-determined torque level the
operator should be aware of it and set the controls
accordingly.
If there is no specific torque setting advised, start with the
lowest setting and work up. Be careful not to over tighten any
heavy bolts or nuts because they will be likely to sheer or the
threads will break.
Step *-Working
Turn on the hydraulic torque wrench and allow it to reach the
correct level of torque.Following the instructions as laid out in
the user manual,make sure fully understand the operating
instructions for hydraulic wrench set.
Once it does this it will automatically stop and operator can
release the hydraulic torque wrench mechanism and remove it.
