Palm Kernel Cake is an active ingredient in animal feed high in essential nutrition, vitamins and minerals.
Palm kernel cake (PKC), sometimes referred to as palm kernel expeller (PKE), has long been known to be an important ingredient for the formulation of animal feeds. Though it is considered to be excellent for ruminants, PKC is also reported to be suitable for use in feed formulations for swine, poultry and horses. Besides oils and protein, PKC also has a high fibre content (about *6%) and a high phosphorus to calcium ratio, which make it suitable as feed ingredient rich with essential elements such as magnesium, iron and zinc.
