TERMS OF PAYMENT: Direct TT (TWT) to Sellers A/C ****2 hrs after final assay report.

Sellers Warranty

The Seller must warrant that the product as described in the FCO is in his legal possession or that he has beneficial ownership of the product and that he has the ability and the authority to sell it:

-Seller/Buyer to exchange their passport copy.

-Seller to submit company registration certificate.

-Seller to submit Tax clearance certificate

-Buyer to inspect the goods at the Sellers offices,  where he/she will take samples for initial tests at a government testing laboratories (SEAMIC or University of Dar es Salaam). Goods are sealed ready for export.

 -Seller representative will accompany the goods to Buyers refinery for smelting and final payment after assay report.

 

Procedure:



    Seller sends FCO

    Buyer and Seller sign the FCO

    The Buyer or Buyers Representative will make arrangement to travel to Dar es Salaam to meet the Seller and view the goods physically.

    The Buyer can obtain samples from the total consignment for testing purposes only at any local testing laboratory, e.g. SEAMIC testing laboratories.

    If required by the buyer, the consignment can be smelted in the presence of the buyer and further inspection and testing is allowed at this stage. (buyer is allowed to bring his own testing equipment)

    After satisfactory inspection, Buyer pays the Government taxes, certificate of origin fees, insurance, customs clearance and freight costs to the Sellers appointed shipping agent or to the appropriate organizations. Under tight supervision, goods will be sealed by officials from the Ministry of Minerals & Energy.



    The Seller can provide collateral in terms of Gold which amounts to the taxes paid at the country of origin to the Buyer as guarantee of shipment and security of buyer`s funds.

    It should be understood that this collateral will also be sampled, tested or smelted if preferred by the Buyer and will be returned to the Seller once the export documents are released and goods are ready to leave the country of origin.

 

    The Seller or the Sellers representative will accompany the Buyer with the consignment to the Buyers final destination to witness and ensure the full payment after the final assay at the buyers refinery.
