Rebar bending line(WGJ-16

Description

WGJ**6 is a multi-purpose compact bending line that can make stirrups and other workpieces of big side-length. It incorporates a straightening-cutting machine, a collecting bench, and 5 bending axes. Its independent straightening and bending mechanisms allow it to realize bending of multi-workpieces of rebar at a time. The long bending platform makes it especially efficient to make bends at two ends of rebar rods. It is revolutionary equipment that beats the automatic stirrup benders in speed, workpiece size, and cost.

The steel coil is straightened and cut to the length predetermined, and a batch of rods can be collected to be bent together. Different from the conventional stirrup bender, which repeats the bends with a single bending axis, WGJ**6 makes bends with 5 bending axes in coordinated movement. This design greatly improves the efficiency.

Straightening-cutting machine
 
The feeding, measuring and cutting are controlled by a microcontroller. Cutting is powered by the independent hydraulic system. The straightening and cutting mechanisms are actually of an independent machine, which constitutes an optional component of the compact bending line. This independent machine works synchronously with the bending machine, turning out rebar
rods to the collecting bench right at the 
convenient height. On the other hand, in the case where the user has ready rebar rods, the straightening-cutting machine can be left out.  

Bending machine
 
The bending axes are powered by the hydraulic station. The PLC controls the flowing of the hydraulic oil, and the special oil circuit efficiently distributes the hydraulic force to the bending axes, to achieve accurate bends with the lowest possible power consumption. In comparison with the 
conventional stirrup benders, which 
use servo-motors to execute the bending process, WGJ**6 with the hydraulically powered bending axes consumes less power (total power is 8kW), and the its cost of maintenance is much lower. 

The long traveling path of the bending axes enables the equipment to form workpieces of big side-length. The upward bending direction also guarantees the big side-length (max side-length: 4m, 6m, 9m, or customized). This is one of the most important advantages over the conventional stirrup benders, which make downwards bending, and the height from the ground limits the side length of the workpieces. On the other hand, as the bending is carried out after the rods are cut, the bending process receives no limitation from the feeding speed, therefore the minimum side-length is also the most excellent.
