Sodium Polyacrylate is a kind of high molecular compound with hydrophilic group. It appears odorless and tasteless white powder. It will form transparent solution of great viscosity while slowly dissolved into water. The viscosity of 0.5% solution is about ***0cp. The viscosity is engendered by the dissociation of numerous anions and hence causes the growth of molecular chain not by expansion of water absorption that normally happens to CMC and sodium alginate. The viscidity is about ****0 times higher than carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium alginate, carrageen, geltin etc. It shows high alkali-resistant, minor change in viscosity after longtime storage, and not easily decaying.
This product is a kind of food additive which ratified by FDA, Japanese Ministry of Health, Chinese Ministry of Health, used in a variety of food for thickening, gluten, stability, and preservation, the general dosage is 0.2%.

Main application:

  1. Because of its excellent drawing effect of aqueous solution, it often used in the cold foods main material and the drawing cold food, the general dosage is 0.1% *0.2%.
  2. Combining with 0.*5 guar gum, 0.*5% konjac gum and carrageenan (4:*1 mixture), 0.2% sodium polyacrylate, and this kind of product could be used to make ice-cream.
  3. We could combine with other thickening agent and make into composite dry mixing emulsifier: 0.*5% guar gum, konjac gum 0.*2%, 0.*3% carrageenan, 0.2% sodium polyacrylate.
  4. As the hydrophilic group could water holding, so it can keep down loss of water caused by freeze drying, if adding 0.***0.*5 sodium polyacrylate in the frozen food, food cracking in the freezer, processing, transportation, refrigeration and heating for consumption could be prevented.
  5. In Flour Products such as bread, cake, noodles, sodium polyacrylate can be used to increase bond strength of protein in raw material wheat flour and prevent exudation of soluble starch and nutrients, improve the scalability and raw material utilization of paste, improving taste and also keeping down the food like bread become old caused by natural drying, the dosage is about 0.*5%.
  6. In the deep-fried food processing, like instant noodle, to spread fat of raw materials steady in dough, decrease oil absorption rate and save oil. The dosage is about 0.2%.
  7. In pasta products like sweet potatoes, maize, potato, improve the product\'s gluten, the dosage is about 0.2%.
  8. Used in spice like jam, tomato sauce, seasoning sauce, soy sauce, and cream, fruit juice, ice cream for thickening and stabilizing.
  9. Strengthen the organization, to keep fresh, enhanced sense of taste for aquatic Minced products, minced meat products, canned food, dried seaweed.
  10. Turbidity clarifier of sugar, salt, beverages, alcoholic.
  11. It can be used in the manufacture of artificial meat, enhance the viscoelasticity and extensions for protein fiber.
  12. Water glaze used for keeping fresh in frozen food and Processed aquatic products.

Usage and Notes:
Dissolution Method: Slowly and evenlyaddinthe sodiumpolyacrylatewhilerapidly stirring the warm water(about *0to *0).(Payattention:Do not add in great quantities, and it should add the powder into the weighted warm water, and do not add water into the powder, otherwise it will generate micelle and difficultly to dissolve. Its better to keep warm and stir the solution to become well-proportioned solution, solution concentration is about 0.1%*0.5%, dissolve time is about half hour) (Mixture ratio: 1KG sodium polyacrylate per 1 cubic) (1g/L water) Users can adjust the test according to addition and experiment. Due to slowly dissolved in water, you can mix the sodium polyacrylate with sugar, starch powder, syrup or emulsifier in advance so that it can improve the dissolution rate.
Package and transport:
Sealed packing with Paper bag inside lining with plastic bag, net weight is *5KG. Please avoid the sun and rain, moisture and heat in storage and transportation.
