The ITONS Series solid fuel burners, Suspension Burner and Grate
Biomass Burner, have industrial applications including dryer heat
source, heat for kilns, heat source for boilers, as well as winter
space heating. The burners can operate on a number of waste
materials such as sawdust and wood residues, reducing fuel cost to
a fraction of conventional fuel. Also, special designed Combination
Burner can burn wood wastes and wood residues together with other
waste materials or together with fossil fuels.
Suspension Burner has become a major alternative to conventional
burners. Applications include both biomass production and wood
process industry. Pulverized wood is blown into the cyclonic
burner. The combustion occurs in a specially designed cylindrical
burner which discharges hot gas directly into dryer or boiler. It
is used for solid fuels with maximum particle size of 6 mm,
moisture content of *5% and an ash content of 6% or less. Fuel
includes sawdust, wood dust, corn cobs, sunflower hulls, rice husk,
charcoal fines), peat, and coal dust.
Biomass Burner is today the most common
combustion technology used for wood wastes and wood residues. The
fuel is moved on grate through the combustion chamber. Grate firing
systems are suitable for all types of all wood fuels and most
biomass, such as wood pellet, wood residues and wood waste, wood
chips, wood logs, char and coal with particle sizes between 6 and
**0 mm, moisture content of *5%. The burner is lined with an
excellent combination of refractory to assure best
heat retention and long burner life. Control is fully
automatic with no special manual attention needed.
