Self Adhesive Fiberglass Mesh Waterproof Tape for Surgical Fracture Fixation                                

It is made of knitted fiberglass fabric or polyester fabric, daubed with water-activated polyurethane resin.  It is intended to enhance generally and partial remedial value to adjoin bones for orthopedic illness or fracture from exteral wound, and to preserve fixation for swollen or wounded joint.

Product Features

♦ Fiberglass material *0 times stronger than plaster bandages and *0% stronger than polyester material, very lightweight and durable and strong to help movement after operation.

♦ X-ray translucent after an operation and can easily check the condition of treatment.

♦ Highly breathable and less itchiness and skin irritation.

♦ Easily folded or tucked along body contours due to the excellent conformability of the material with high flexibility, so it will provide excellent conformity after application.

♦ Will evaporate water rapidly due to its excellent air permeability, and maintain its solidity longer.

♦ Easier removal of the casting tape after necessary period of application compared to polyester material and plaster bandages.

Direction for use

♦ Slip one layer of stockinet over the wounded part and wrap with cast padding.

♦ Gloves must be worn.

♦ Open only one roll at a time, immerse the roll of tape in room temperature water (****5℃) for 3~5 seconds and squeeze 3~4 times.

♦ Wrap the tape spirally, taking care to avoid excess tightness. (overlapping the previous layer by one-half or two-thirds the width of the tape. )

♦ Smooth and rub the surface to achieve good contact between layers. About 3~4 minutes after immersion in water, Ansen Cast is sufficiently rigid to prevent further moulding.
