These V-Rack Kayak and Canoe Carrier is a very stable composite kayak/canoe 
horizontal hauling solution. Each set includes 4 support bars and 2 tie-down straps 
for transporting a single kayak or canoe on a vehicle roof with an existing crossbar 
system. The form-fit steel V-shape bars are wrapped with 1/4" thick foam to grip a 
kayak or canoe hull for maximum stability and protection. Support bars are 
independent of each other and are easily adjusted to fit most kayak or canoe hull 
widths. The Apex V-Rack can be secured to cross bars with a maximum size of 
**3/4"W x **1/2"H and a minimum size of 1/4"W x 1/2"H. Requires at least **5/8" 
of clearance from the underside of the cross bars to the vehicle roof.
