Description

Rosella or hibiscus sabdariffa belongs to the family of Malvacea. It is an annual herb cultivated for its leaves, stems, seeds and calyces. It is popularly known as Zobo in Nigeria. The Nigerian hibiscus comes in different kinds depending on the area it is grown. Most of the Nigerian hibiscus comes from the northern part of the country and it is harvested between November to January.
