Our biochar is derived from a mixture of hardwoods and softwoods. It is pyrolized, crushed and then screened to 3mm particle size for better efficiency in the root zone of all crops.

Biochar is best used as a soil amendment and is most effective when mixed with Compost, manure, liquid and chemical NPK fertilizers. Combining biochar with a fertilizer to \'charge\' the mix before application to soils yields fantastic results.
