Description
Portland Cement Setting accelerator -CSA
CEMENT
CSA cement is a hydraulic binder based on calcium
sulpho aluminate. It is a rapid hardening cement that sets in
a similar time to Portland and allows concrete to be put into
service after 6 and *4 hours. Particularly suited to areas subject
to abrasion and wear, such as industrial floors, flume linings and
spillways, and also resistant to chemicals and extreme
temperatures. Used as a Portland cement accelerator in
non-structural applications, including render, screeds and grouting
materials. CSA cement is also often used by sculptors, attracted by
its quick setting properties.
When added to a regular cement, CSA cement accelerates drying and
hardening for concrete and mortars, for all those small jobs that
require a quick return to operations(masonry or plumbing joints,
etc.)
Mixed with aggregates as a sole binder, CSA cement concrete is
high resistant to impacts, temperature variations and different
types of corrision.
