Sesame Seeds

Description

Sesame is a Flowering plant in the genus Sesamum, also known as Benne. It is known scientifically as Sesamum indicum. Sesame has one of the highest oil contents with a rich, nutty flavor in its seeds.

Sesame seeds are a very good source of copper and manganese, and a good source of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamin B1, dietary fiber, selenium, and molybdenum. Sesame seeds are also good sources of carbohydrates, Fats and Protein.
