Description

Povidone iodine is a loose complex of elemental iodine and a polymeric carrier that acts as a carrier and solubilizes. Room temperature yellow-brown to brown-red amorphous powder. Micro-stink, soluble in water or ethanol, acidic aqueous solution, insoluble in ether, chloroform, acetone, ethane and carbon tetrachloride. Povidone iodine solution without iodine shortcomings, coloring shallow, easy to elute, mucosal stimulation is small, without ethanol deiodination, no corrosion, and low toxicity.
