MAIN CHARACTERISTICS  

Glofa Non-slam Silent check valve is one kind of automatic valve. It can effectively control the flow direction of the medium and prevent from back flowing of the medium, and is widely applied to a pipeline system with high demands for the sound. Glofa Non-slam Silent check valve is mainly used in drainage, fire control and heating piping systems. It is installed at the outlet of pipeline pumps, could avoid water hammer and reduce the noise effectively, also protecting pipeline devices. The valve body is designed of reasonable structure, with advantages of light weight, easy installation and good sealing performance.

DESIGN ADVANTAGES

When there is no fluid in the pipe, the valve is closed under force of the spring, when the medium start flowing through, the valve gets open under the thrust of the fluid. When the medium flow in reversed, the counter-current medium generates reverse thrust force, added with the force of the valve spring, since the valve disc can only be opened in one direction, the two forces will push the valve disc tightly on the sealing surface, prevent media from flowing back. The flow channel inside the check valve is straight nearly in streamlined, which enable the medium flowing through unobstructed. The movement distance of the valve disc during opening and closing is short, make the valve open and close quickly, resulting in minimizing the water hammer greatly and get excellent silence effect
