Description
The MODUL ZFWZ *3 CNC vertical gear hobbing machine is designed to
generate spur gears with straight or helical teeth, sprocket
wheels, worm wheels hobbed in radial or tangential method, gear
wheels with longitundal modification, spline shafts and other types
of gearing generated in the hobbing process. Modern design with
backlash elimination of hob carriage and table offers hobbing of
hardened wheels and high speed milling of non-hardened wheels with
carbide tipped tools. The machine is suitable both for the series
or single-piece production. Operation, setting up and maintenance
of the machine are conceived to be performed simply, swiftly and
with ease. In its basic version the machine is equipped with the
SIEMENS control system and drives. There are six controlled machine
axes.
