Dried Organic Green Shiso (Perilla frutescens) hand harvested and grown by AGENAS Farms

This herb is called Shiso or Perilla and is used in Japanese and Korean food. It is a relative of basil and looks and grows like it too. It has a spicy aromatic flavor like cinnamon mixed with basil and sage. It is used in make an herbal tea. The dried leaves can be steeped to make a pleasant herbal tea, or can be added to soup where they fully reconstitute relatively quickly.
