Description

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is the irregularly shped root of an annual flowering plant used worldwide as a spice in various cuisines worldwide. It has also gained popularity many industries, from using its essential oil to alleviate skin conditions to incorporating its essence into soaps and shampoos in the beauty and cosmetic industry.  Its medicinal properties are also noted widely in relieving minor ailments. 
It has a browish outer skin which may be thick or thin depending on when it is harvested, with a yellow flesh. We have Fresh, sun-dried and powdred ginger available for sale.
