 Ugandas Arabica coffee grows around the slopes of Mount Elgon. The coffee was introduced to Uganda from Ethiopia and evolved along the slopes of Mount Elgon. Arabica cultivar Bugishu / Bugisu, (a rare breed of Arabica) is grown near Sipi Falls on the western slopes of Mt. Elgon, one of Ugandas largest mountains.
