Description

Egusi is a fat and protein rich seeds of the melon ball. These protein rich seeds are well dried and usually peeled or unpeeled according to the buyers specification.
Melon seeds are full of health benefits. The melon seeds are an excellent source of proteins, vitamins (folate, thiamine and niacin, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid), minerals (magnesium, copper, zinc, iron, potassium, phosphorus, and manganese) fatty acids.
Melon seeds will not germinate at a soil temperature below 65°F (18°C). Start melons indoors 4 to 3 weeks before planting out into the garden; sow seed in peat pots in seed starting mix. The indoor temperature should be between 80° to 90°F (27-32°C) until germination.
