Wood pellet
Wood pellet is a solid fuel that is produced by crushing and
densifying waste timber like sawdust, forestry residues, forestry
wastes. The length is **4cm and the diameter is generally 6, 8, *0,
or *2mm. It is possible to produce *5mm wood pellet at maximum. In
Sweden, 6mm wood pellet is encouraged to use in house as it can
realize the best condition of combustion. Wood pellet production
doesn't need to add binder as lignin, an element of wood, plays a
role of binder and helps to pelletize when it is melted by heat.
Product Application
Application of Wood Pellets is extensive worldwide and the use of
biomass pellets can be seen in daily life. Wood pellets are
actually made from agrictural or forestry wastes such as straw,
sawdust, bagasse, peanut shell, sunflower seed shell, saw shavings,
grain stalks and straw. Pellet fuel shall be processed via the
process of crushing, drying, mixing,pelleting, cooling, screening
and packaging. Biomass pellets are used widely as a new green
energy fuel, which is mainly used as a substitute for fossil fuel
(coal, gasoline and natural gas) and mainly applied to the
