It belongs from a town in the southern Kyoto which is a famous tea house as the birthplace of Japanese green tea. It is known as the main production area of Uji tea. 
 
The Kenko Foods Organic Tea Series uses only organic fertilizers from the green tea cultivated in Ujitawara, taking advantage of the blessings of nature and without using pesticides.
