These wire ropes are rotation resistant thanks to their two layers
of wires in opposite directions, reducing the rotation torque.
The compacted wires provide increased tensile strength and
resistance to abrasion.
Not suitable for working with swivels.
In accordance with the EN ******4 standard.
This compacted wire rope construction is available in both
galvanized and ungalvanized finish with either ordinary or langs
lay. The construction family includes *7X7, *8X7 and *9X7. For
further flexibility and other performance characteristics we also
supply *5X7, *4X7 and *4X7.
Application: They can be used in mobile crane, crawler crane,
vessel crane, tower crane, cantilever crane, bridge crane, pile
driver, hoisting rope for rotary drilling rig. It is applicable to
the condition which can free rotation on one side and deep hoisting
height.
