A. V. O. D 's oven semi dried & roasted tomato segments range is the flagship production of the company. Drawing on our strengths from the growing fields, production, and supply to the Australian market of sun dried tomatoes, in where the product was initially innvovated, we have established a purpose-built haccp approved factory for the production of oven semi dried, roasted tomatoes. In a relatively short time, we have established ourselves as the only producer in Turkey of genuine oven dried semi- dried tomatoes. Selected fresh table tomatoes are harvested from contracted fields under the company's control and are brought to our facility for grading, washing, and final selection. After selection, the tomatoes are cut into segments and carefully placed in rows onto the trays. They are then slowly dried to about a *0% moisture level (subject to customer specifications) in our specially designed oven, capable of producing about 2, **0 KG of finished product per day, and regarded as one of the largest of it's kind. Semi-dried/roasted tomatoes are individually quick frozen (iqf) in our on-line tunnel freezer and packed into poly lined carton boxes for storage. While a substantial proportion of our capacity is supplied to our customers in this format, we also have the capability to process marinated product with oil, herbs and spices, under temparature controlled conditions. This product can be packed in pouches, trays, tubes and buckets, and is especially suitable for foodservice and retail distribution. This A. V. O. D.
