Aquameter is the most popular instrument in India for geophysical studies. It is based on the modern technology of microprocessors and employs ingenious methods for extracting subsurface information. CRM *0 is a low power version (4W) suitable for high resistivity soil of the Deccan Trap, while CRM **0 is a high power version (*0 W) suitable for saline & marshy terrain, which is suitable in Northern India and the coastal regions
