OUR STORY

Charcoal Briquettes and Beyond (CBNB) started from our concerns about agricultural development and sustainability in Indonesia. We were a small group spread across various remote areas in Indonesia. Our concern stems from the economic turmoil and the declining absorption of agricultural products in Indonesia, particularly coconut products and their derivatives.

This setback has had many impacts, especially on the purchasing power of farmers and the certainty of supply chains. For us, this issue is quite intriguing considering that Indonesia is the largest supplier of coconut products in the world. We take the initiative to play a role in improving the welfare of farmers. We began to conclude various coconut farmers in our areas, especially farmers from West Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi. We help local communities by maximizing the use of leftover processed coconut shells.

For now, we are working with and reaching more than hundreds of farmers and micro-economy from various regions in Indonesia. We continue to strive to develop and reach out to a variety of farmers€™ products so that they can be absorbed and utilized at a proper value.

Our vision is to create an agricultural industrial ecosystem that is more mutually beneficial, sustainable, and environmentally responsible. This message is our guide in taking steps to help fellow human beings as €content€ and the environment as the €context€ of life.
