OUR BUSINESS MODEL

ANCHA Castilla is CLAAN Exports brand name, which gathers a wide range of food and drink products. Our main markets are Germany and Switzerland.
ANCHA Castilla was created in ***0. Our main objective was to increase the sales of the family production of olive oil and saffron. Nowadays, we own **0 ha in the municipalities of Las Labores, Villarrubia de los Ojos, Arenas de San Juan, Puerto Lpice, Malagn and Daimiel (within the province of Ciudad Real, Spain).
Our grandparents and parents followed a traditional model: they took their production to the local cooperative, even though it was not properly appreciated and they sold it in bulk; this made them lose control over the quality of their own product. Although **0 ha is not a huge property, it retrieves quite a noteworthy production.

For such reason, I decided to create our own brand and support our products in the international market. Our efforts are aimed at exporting and bringing new products to our brand. Moreover, this led to the creation of new brands, mainly for wines from other Spanish regions which could not be represented under ANCHA Castilla, not only for strategic reasons, but also because our customers did not want to have the same products at a different price in order to avoid possible comparisons.

After this short but intense walk through our growing history, we have established as a purchasing agent, both in theory and practice, for our customers, mainly located in Switzerland. We look for products which they are currently buying to other suppliers in foreign countries, to prove them that Spain is a sure bet and can be very competitive in that range of food and drink products. To a lesser extent, we also buy wine in Portugal and Italy.

We emphasize that our company buys **0 % of the goods we sell, since we do not work as commission agents. We hold the international certificate IFS Broker, which guarantees that every step follows the food safety gudelines detailed in its standards.

As a conclusion, CLAAN Export will still work towards diferentiating from our direct competitors, in order to provide the following services: control, management, tight prices, searching volume sales (which has proved to provide really good outcomes), and, most important, we will work towards increasing trust from our customers.
