CMA Trading

CMA Trading was founded in New Jersey in ***6. The original focus of the Company was a client based market research firm. Over time the Company grew, at its peak CMA had over *6, **0 field people making store visits to conduct market research on garment styles, colors, usage, usability, etc. In addition, the field people worked as inventory managers for CMA retail clients. Concurrently, CMA instituted an international trading division working on barter and counter trade deals with the market research clients to help clients achieve their sales goals. In ***5 CMA sold the market research arm of the business and concentrated its efforts on trading and sales. Gus Eben, the CEO and Founder of CMA expanded the trading division by growing its product line into a diverse array of products. These products included; tobacco, disposable medical supplies, toys and house wares. Many of the same market research clients Gus started with in ***6 continued as clients while further expansion brought in a new more diverse clientele. In ***2 CMA launched a commodities trading division. The focus centered on the cash markets and the sale of large shipload quantities of commodity products. These products included; tea, sugar Urea, Iron Ore, Scrap metal and beans. As the business expanded deals commenced worldwide. Today this segment of CMA Trading operates worldwide with sales of $**5 million. The addition of Tony O'Brien (Senior Vice President-Head Trader) continued to accelerate CMA Trading to record growth. Tony is a *8 year commodity trading expert with over *8 years of trading experience on the CBOT, CME, NYMEX and other commodity exchanges. This type of added experience has allowed CMA Trading to expand their offices into the Midwest, Brazil, London, and Hong Kong. Expansion has helped CMA Trading take advantage of the ever growing Asian market. Today CMA is a leader in the commodity cash markets. The Company focuses on Sugar, Cement, Tea, Iron ore, Scrap Iron, Urea, D2
