in the northern zone of Costa Rica. We are pioneers in practices
that are widely used today to grow the crop.
Ipecacuana ( some call it Ipeca) is a dried root. It has been
used since the times of Napoleon Bonaparte ( he gave it to his
troops when they were sick)It has several uses.
*- It is a emitina. This means it produces deep vomits. It is very
potent and make someone vomit everything.
*- It cures amoebas.
*- It helps cure dysentery.
*- It has many other uses depending on the country where it is
sold.
Since we sell only the dried roots , that is what we are concerned
about. Our product has 3,5 % alkaloids, which are the
active ingredients of the dried roots.
