JSC Riga Shipyard

JSC Riga Shipyard is established in ***3 and having almost a century old history, today we are the reliable partners for most of the European and Scandinavian ship operators, with a string focus in ship repair, ship conversion and newbilding. We are doing our best in order to meet the requirements of our customers as their interests come first. The yard employs highly trained, certified and experienced professionals. Now we are looking forward to new business area of steel constructions as Riga Shipyard has all necessary resources for the production of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum constructions. Cutting, processing, assembly, and welding of constructions is done in the shipbuilding workshop, its area is more than ****0m‚², and *0% of which consist of assembly beds; the largest bed is ca.**0 m‚². Technological equipment of the workshop allows to straighten and bend flat and profile blanks, and process edges for welding. The workshop is equipped with bridge cranes capacity of which is *0t and *0t, dimensions of the doorway gate are *3mx*0m. Constructions are transported by truck of **0mt capacity. ‚«LINCOLN‚», ‚«ESAB‚», and ‚«KEMPPI‚» welding equipment provides high-quality welds being tested by by non-destructive tests of color defectoscopy, ultrasonic, and x-rays. Riga Shipyard provides cleaning of metal surfaces by abrasive - shot blasting method and priming and painting in accordance with customers requirements. Pipeline workshop of the shipyard is equipped with the technological equipment for cutting, bending, and welding of pipes with a diameter up to **0 mm and wall thickness up to 6 mm. The shipyard provides turning and milling of the blanks. The largest turning machine can handle parts up to *4 meters in length and diameter up to 2 m. Riga Shipyard has rail-way branch equipped with two cranes with lifting capacity of *0 tons each. The berths are equipped with cranes with lifting capacity of *2 tons; a floating cranes lifting capacity is *4 ton
