Lailey and Coates International Limited is a privately owned British company located in Gangkou, Zhongshan, one of the industrial hubs of the Chinese Economy. 

Derek Coates and Simon Lailey founded Lailey and Coates UK Ltd. In ***0. It began life as a business dedicated to developing first class Heat Pumps, imported from China into Britain. 

Simon, a first rate engineer, spent over four years visiting China for months at a time, working closely with a number of Chinese suppliers to produce leading 'next-generation'products. 

However as so often happens, once the designs were developed and agreed in China, subsequent deliveries didn't live up to the Quality Control standards that the company required to confidently invest and develop the business into a global brand. 

So, after facing the frequent and difficult challenges that many importers encounter when buying from abroad, the company decided to open its own factory and overcome these challenges.
