HUAMIN Grinding rods is widely used in the mining and cement industry. HUAMIN Grinding rods is different with common round steel bars, it is heat treated grinding rods used in the Bar Mill, the wearing resistance is much higher than common round steel bars by **6 time, the performance is obvious.

The main question analysis
1.Analysis for breakage and bending of grinding rods
a. main reason:1) Material: Porosity and light segregation existed within rolled steel and the inner mechanical property is poor relatively. Only big steelworks can meet the technical requirement of inner tightness. Especially size more than *0mm, the compression ratio and hardenability characteristic is poor even though the steel billet of most steelworks can finish the moulding. 2) Process: the inner stress is not relieved. The breakage of grinding rods is same like blast, which is happened from the inside. Only the inner stress is relieved, it can avoid the breakage.
b. Solution: 1) We use raw material from big steelworks, and our new type alloy steel material is developed by our company, which is has good hardenability characteristic, also we have confidential agreement with the steelworks.2)We have get patent of our developed grinding rods process, which can highly improve the wear resistance of the grinding rods, and no breakage.
2. Hardness of the grinding rods
The optimum status is HRC****0 of the grinding rods, we think, and if the hardness is lower than HRC****0, the wear resistance will not be good, and if the hardness is higher than HRC****0, the breakage rate will be higher. The common hardness of rods from the steel makers is only HRC****5, so the wear resistance of our grinding rods is much higher than the round bars from the steel makers.
