The journey of Vertex Group started *3 years ago as Vertex International Limited which exports jute and jute goods. In ***2, Vertex RMG Division was formed to step into the RMG manufacturing industry of Bangladesh. It started out the venture with Vertex Wear Limited (VWL) and Vertex Fashion Limited (VFL) at Mirpur with 6 lines together. The response was fascinating. To satisfy the increasing demand of the clients, it increased another 3 lines in ***6. In ***8, there were *5 lines working tirelessly to meet the growing demand of is customers. In ***5, Vertex RMG Division decided to build its own production site where they can implement the ever increasing customer requirement. It acquired 4.5 acres of land in Savar and the project started in ***6. In ***8, it shifted VWL to Savar. At this moment, Vertex RMG division is operating altogether *0 lines of production. Ethical: Vertex RMG Division is well aware of the ethical standards that have to be maintained. It ensures that employment is freely chosen, there is freedom of association, and the right to collective bargaining is practiced. Its working conditions are safe and hygienic. It guarantees that child labor is abhorred, wages are paid on time and accurately, and working hour within limit. Environmental: Vertex RMG Division feels that this is its responsibility to ensure the enviro- nment us remains unpolluted. In that regard, it invests on equipments and motivates its staff to remain aware of safeguarding the environment through best possible practice. These include: 1. Investing heavily on environment friendly equipments which require less energy to operate and product less heat, noise and carbon emission. 2. Storing wastages regularly and dumping in designated areas and recycling according. 3. Taking care of medical disposals in the same manner and ensuring that it remains consistent.
