Adipic acid two hydrazide (ADH) is the most suitable hydrazine crosslinking agent, and ADH has been widely used in aqueous emulsion. ADH is weakly alkaline. It is possible to coalesce the solid ADH directly into the emulsion. ADH should usually be dissolved in hot water (poor solubility in cold water).

It can be used as crosslinking agent in the cross-linking of water emulsion and water soluble polymer, such as waterborne coatings, adhesives, fibers, plastic film treatment, hair spray, etc., and can also be used as epoxy powder coating curing agent and waterborne coating auxiliaries, metal deactivators and other polymer assistants and water treatment agents, indoor formaldehyde adsorbent and intermediate raw materials.
