~Silver-Silver Chloride Reference Electrodes are recommended to be used in high chloride or high chlorine water solutions, such as sea water, brackish water, and high chlorine fresh water.
These kind of electrodes operate in stable potential conditions based on stable chloride content. As the chloride (salt) content gets less than sea water equivalent the potential of silver-silver chloride may change in time.
